Dial-a-Cab takes the CO2 emissions released by its taxis very seriously and is an environmentally-aware company.
To that end, we have published the following press release which defines our C02 offsetting policy.
Dial-a-cab drives down its carbon emissions to help combat climate change

Dial-a-Cab, London's premier taxicab provider is not only the largest in the Capital, it is now also one of the greenest.
Today Chairman Brian Rice announced that Dial-a-Cab has joined forces with Carbon Footprint Ltd to alleviate the Company's
impact on our environment.
Brian Rice said "This is both an exciting & responsible programme for Dial-a-Cab. From now on each journey undertaken by
Dial-a-Cab will be Carbon Footprint Free - the carbon dioxide emissions made will be offset to zero".
Brian Rice added that carbon offsetting is only part of the story:
"We believe that climate change will only be tackled if each and every one of us also reduces our impact.
That is why Dial-a-cab is also reviewing all its operations - including our taxis & offices - and will implement new carbon
saving technologies & practices that will reduce our carbon footprint to a bare minimum."
Dial-a-Cab has teamed up with Carbon Footprint Ltd who is the provider of the Web's top rated carbon footprint calculator
(www.carbonfootprint.com), as well as consultants to businesses on
carbon reduction, management and offsetting. Their highly regarded Carbon Offsetting project is based around energy saving in the
developing World and ensures carbon dioxide emissions are neutralised quickly, traceably & permanently.
